Hey, I’m Abigail Alvarez
Founder of Alvarez Studio and a photographer based in Ontario, Canada. My love for photography began back in high school, and I’ve been chasing the light ever since. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies from the University of Guelph-Humber, where I focused on digital communication. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with businesses, families, and individuals — specializing in product photography, headshots, and brand imagery.

I’m not usually one for words — but here we go.
I’m a big fan of pizza, tacos, ice cream, and a good Aperol spritz. I love movies and TV shows (you’ll probably catch me quoting something at some point), and I’m always up for getting lost in a good book.
As a true Canadian, I appreciate winter — the snow really does make everything look magical. But my heart belongs to hot, sunny summer days. Give me sunshine, a good tan, and maybe an ocean view with great music playing, and I’m in my happy place.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me hanging out with family and friends — or perfectly content on my own, gaming, reading, catching up on shows, or just enjoying a quiet moment in nature.
